Are you using Adobe Lightroom yet? Are you aware about the many features of Lightroom? Did you know Adobe Photoshop was not originally built for photographers, but Adobe Lightroom was created from the ground up with photographers in mind?

Lightroom is the DEFINATIVE tool for photographers. If you aren't using it, you should be. It will save you TIME!

Now is the time to start learning to use this valuable tool and all the features it has to offer. And on Sunday, Sept. 24th, A.J. Wood of Media Cats has agreed to teach a workshop on nothing but Lightroom!

A.J. Wood is owner of Media Cats, Inc. an Adobe Authorized Training Partner. A.J. is widely recognized for his ability to educate people of all skill levels. Based in Dallas, A.J. is one of a few Adobe Certified Instructors specializing in Lightroom & Photoshop. Read his blog, catch his podcast at www.ajwood.com. Furthermore, to my knowledge, A.J. is the only Adobe Certified instructor in Texas that does Lightroom instructional workshops.

Usually, A.J.'s full courses cost corporations hundreds of dollars for each participant. However, A.J. has agreed to do this Lightroom course for MeetUp members for a special low rate of $75. This is a very small investment to make to learn a program that could literally save you countless hours of time processing your photos.

If you don't have Lightroom, that's ok. You can download a fully functional, trial version from Adobe for FREE! The fully functioning trial version will work for 30 full days.

We are also trying to arrange a promotional discount from Adobe for anyone attending that wants to purchase Lightroom. However, this has not been finalized yet.

So whether or not you already have Lightroom, will be purchasing it, or simply downloading the trial version, get it loaded on your laptop and/or desktop and bring it to the Lightroom Workshop on Aug. 24th. You will NOT need to bring your printer for this class.
